Biography of Douglas McGregor

Douglas McGregor was an American scholar and professor of management at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

He served as the president of Antioch College from 1948 to 1954 and also taught at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta for some time. Interestingly, McGregor initially had no plans to become a specialist in management.

He studied mechanical engineering at the Rangoon Institute of Technology.
